Soccer \ Football NewsArsenal will smash their transfer record this week by paying £15million for little-known Argentinian striker Rodrigo Palacio, says The Sun.
The paper, apparently reacting to reports in Argentina, claims that the 25-year-old will 'fly to London tomorrow for a medical after Boca Juniors accepted the Gunners offer. He is destined to wear the No 14 shirt vacated by Thierry Henry's recent £16m move to Barcelona.'
For the record, Palacio has scored 39 goals in 79 Boca appearances.
