LIVE LIKE GISELE

June 28, 2007 -- For those who've ever fantasized about spending time in Gisele Bundchen's apartment, it's time to break into your piggy banks. She's renting out her West Village penthouse loft – minus herself, sorry – for $29,000 per month.
The Brazilian Bombshell, who intercepted the affections of quarterback Tom Brady from his now-pregnant ex-girlfiend Bridget Moynahan, bought the triplex apartment in 200 for just under, $3 million, according to city records.

Her 1754-square-foot 5-room residence - overlooking the Hudson River at West and 11th streets – includes 2 bedrooms 2 and ½ baths, high ceilings, a 2500-square-foot planted terrace, and private roofdeck with a hot tub, and a gourmet kitchen.
Bundchen, who said she’ll happily serve as stepmom to Brady and Moynhan’s unborn baby, reportedly sold her gated Mediterranean-style home in Los Angeles to Quentin Tarantino - for around $4 million - to be closer to the East Coast-bound hurler.
Susan Hayes of Corcoran has the listing.

Taking the Fifth
Controversial Fairchild Corp. Chairman Jeffrey Steiner has sold his Fifth Avenue co-op apartment for his last asking price of $15 million.
According to city records, the buyer of the 11-room prewar Carnegie Hill apartment is Loida Nicolas Lewis. She is the chairwoman and CEO of TLC Beatrice, a food conglomerate with holdings in China and the Philippines, which was acquired by her late husband, Reginald Lewis, in 1987.
Included in the 10th-floor apartment designed by Jed Johnson are four bedrooms, 4½ baths, Central Park Reservoir views, 11-foot ceilings, herringbone floors and a private elevator landing.
Shirley Hackel of Warburg Realty was the listing broker.
Steiner has purchased a$7.95 million three-bedroom apartment in the Sherry-Netherland hotel. In the past few years, Steiner, the high-living head of the Virginia-based company with divisions specializing in aerospace and motorcycle parts, has been sued by shareholders for his free-spending ways.

Martha's in da' house?
Martha Stewart is looking to buy even more property in Manhattan. But the uber-wealthy titan of taste says she's now looking to buy a house, rather than move into her $35 million worth of apartments at the Richard Meier-designed 165 Charles St. building.
"If you know of any [house], let me know," she says in next month's House & Garden magazine. "I want to walk to work."

That said, Stewart says she's starting to like living in Bedford, N.Y., where she's raising chickens and cows on her 153-acre estate.
When asked how many buildings there are on the Westchester property, she replies, "There are seven houses and I don't know how many barns. I keep building barns."
